President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the mass retirement of 17 Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Civil Service.
The retirement is to take immediate effect.
Some of the permanent secretaries held a closed-door meeting with President Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Tuesday.
MostlyaAffected are Permanent Secretaries senior to the Acting Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Winifred Ekanem Oyo-Ita.
