Biafra: El-Rufai accused of recruiting 2000 people to make protests bloody

South East governors convene emergency meeting over Biafra Nov. 22

Governors of South East states will on Sunday convene an emergency meeting over increasing agitation for the cessation of the zone by the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB).

Meanwhile, IPOB has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of using his close confidant, Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State to recruit over 2000 persons to infiltrate IPOB protests with a view to turning them into violence.

According to a statement of Radio Biafra website: “Instead of president Muhammadu Buhari to release the director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu (who was arrested, secretly charged to a magistrate court, granted bail and he met his bail conditions), initiate a dialogue for a Referendum to be held, he is investigating the link between the Niger Delta Militants and IPOB”.

“According to our source, Buhari’s confidants like El Rufai have recruited over 2000 persons and paid them heavily to join the IPOB Global Peaceful Protest and turn it into a violent protest, because they have seen that the Biafran protesters are not going to stop anytime soon as against what some people earlier anticipated”.
