The All Progressives
Congress (APC) has expressed serious misgivings over the refusal of the
leaderships of the two chambers of the National Assembly to abide by its
directives as par the choice of principal officers.
APC’s objections are
contained in a statement issued on Thursday and signed by its National
Secretary, Alhaji Mai Mala Buni,
According to the
statement, “The party stands by the list
to the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
“The National Caucus,
the Board of Trustees and the National Executive Council of the party will meet
within the next few days to discuss the evolving developments in the National
Assembly.”
