The leader of Boko Haram, Imam Abubakar Shekau has revealed that Presisent Goodluck Jonathan is the next target of the murderous group. The threat was made in an audio message he posted to the Internet. While threatening the President, he denied that his group killed civilians in a recent attack that saw at least 185 people died in Kano.
The video posted to YouTube shows a still image of Imam Abubakar Shekau, the leader of Boko Haram. Speaking in Hausa, Shekau says negotiations suggested by President Goodluck Jonathan between the government and the sect will not happen.
Shekau said: "If Jonathan does not repent as a Muslim, even if I die myself, Jonathan's going to see. He's looking at me like I'm nobody, but he'll see."
