The acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus has revealed that Remita, the company which allegedly collected N25billion in a day as consultancy on the Single Treasury Account (TSA) is owned by a Northern APC Governor and a South-Western APC Leader.
This is contained in his address on Thursday at the Party’s National Conference in Abuja.
While listing the excesses of the APC government, Prince Secondus said: “the obvious selective implementation of the ordinarily well received anti-corruption fight. Just yesterday the Senate commenced the investigation of an allegation involving the payment of commission to a company allegedly owned by a Northern APC Governor and a South-Western APC Leader for collecting monies meant for the Single Treasury Account in violation of the BIOFA Act”.
“This is an unprecedented rip-off of our common wealth. We urge a thorough investigation of this allegation and the transparent prosecution of anybody indicted in this fraudulent deal no matter how highly placed”, he added.
It would be recalled that the Senate on Wednesday urged the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and Ministry of Finance to suspend lodgments into Treasury Single Account (TSA) to allow investigation of alleged fraud in the system.
The upper chamber had in a motion moved by Sen. Dino Melaye (APC Kogi West) raised alarm over alleged payment of N25 billion to one e-collection firm, REMITA, in one day as one per cent of monies transferred.

DeleteTell us the names then since u know who they are.
DeleteI tell u guy, It is easier to discover the owners of Remita and thier management than reading this crap! Google is your friend guys! Chai!
ReplyDeleteEven seemingly intelligent guys are lazy and ignorant in Nigeria #ThisNationNeedsHelp http://www.systemspecs.com.ng/about-us/people/
I am amused by your position. It seems to me that you don't really understand the Nigerian environment. Apha Beta is owned by Tinubu but you can't find his name anywhere as a director of the company. Go to CAC, use google search, his name cannot be traced to the company. He controls the company through his cronies. Please open your eyes
